Auburn Botanic Gardens

Cumberland Council's botanic gardens in Sydney's west have a Japanese garden and a grove of about 200 cherry trees, which makes them Sydney's main cherry blossom spot. The trees flower in late winter, around late August, when the gardens host the Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival with food and Japanese cultural events.
