Queens Park and Toowoomba Botanic Gardens

Queens Park is Toowoomba's big central park, and its botanic gardens corner is the main floral showpiece of the Carnival of Flowers each September. Council gardeners plant large beds of annuals for the carnival, and the displays are free to wander. Toowoomba sits about 700 metres up on the Great Dividing Range, so spring mornings can be cool.
