Everlasting Kings Park Festival 2026: dates, tickets and what's blooming
The Everlasting Kings Park Festival is Perth's celebration of Western Australian wildflowers, held mostly in the Western Australian Botanic Garden inside Kings Park, 1.5km from the CBD. Expect displays drawn from more than 3,000 WA plant species, plus guided walks, talks, workshops and family activities. Entry to the park is free and many festival events cost nothing. It is the easiest way to see kangaroo paws, everlastings and banksias without driving north into wildflower country.

- Getting there
- The free 935 Transperth bus runs from St Georges Terrace into the heart of Kings Park, and the free city CAT buses stop by the main entry on Kings Park Road. Parking in the park is free, but expect road closures and detours during the festival because of resurfacing works.
